My First 30 Days as A LiveGood Affiliate: Results & Lessons Learned

(I originally wrote this over a year ago on another platform and decided to repost it here..)

It’s been exactly one month since I paid my $49.95 and officially became a LiveGood affiliate. I wanted to write this post for a simple reason: to document the real, unfiltered experience of a beginner. No hype, no fluff, just what I did, what happened, and what I learned along the way.

When I first started, I felt that familiar mix of excitement and nervousness. The model made sense, the products looked incredible, and the cost was a no-brainer. But a small part of me still wondered, “Can I actually do this? Will this be different?”

I decided to treat my first 30 days as an experiment. My goal wasn’t to get rich overnight. It was simply to see if I could make my money back and prove to myself that this business was as simple as it seemed.

So, here’s the full story of my first month.

My Super Simple 30-Day Action Plan

I knew I didn’t have hours to spend every day, so I focused on small, consistent actions. I didn’t want to do anything that wasn’t duplicatable for the people who might join me. My entire “strategy” boiled down to a few things:

  1. I Made a List: I jotted down a list of 20 people in my life who were either into health and wellness or who were looking for a simple way to earn extra income. Not to pounce on them, but just to have a starting point.
  2. I Shared the Free Tour: I sent a simple, low-pressure message to people on that list. Something like, “Hey, I just started with a new health and wellness company that has a totally different way of doing things. It’s like a Costco for supplements. Would you be open to taking a free tour and telling me what you think?” That’s it.
  3. I Used the Company’s Tools: I didn’t try to reinvent the wheel. I sent people to my pre-built company tour page and let the 5-minute video do all the explaining. It’s professional, concise, and does a better job than I ever could.
  4. I Followed Up Authentically: A day or two later, I’d check back in. “Hey, did you get a chance to watch that video? What did you think?” I was focused on their feedback, not on a hard sell.

That was my entire “work” for the month. Simple, stress-free conversations.

The Results: My First-Month Earnings (The Numbers!)

Okay, this is the part you’re probably waiting for. My goal was just to make back my initial $49.95. So, what happened?

In my first 30 days, 5 people from my list decided to become members and affiliates.

Here’s how that translated into income:

  • Weekly Fast Start Commissions: For each of those 5 people, I earned a $25 Fast Start Commission.
    • 5 people x $25 = $125
  • Customer Acquisition Bonus: I also earned another $22 as from what LiveGood refers to as a “Customer Acquisition Bonus”. Basically it’s a one-time 5% commission from anyone that I personally enrolled first product order.
  • Matrix Commissions: Pending and will eventually show up. With Matrix commissions new LiveGood affiliates need to be patient. It takes a month or 2 before those start to show up. A member has to be in your Matrix for a full month before you receive a Matrix Commission. (For example, if a member joins you on September 15th, you earn the Fast Start Bonus instantly, if the member remains a member through October, you would earn your Matrix commission on that member the first week in November, and then every month after that, as long as they remain a member.)

That’s it. Simple and straightforward. I earned $147 in my very first month.

Let’s put that in perspective:

  • I more than doubled my initial startup cost.
  • I covered my $9.95 monthly membership for the next year.
  • Everything from here on out is pure profit.
  • I am now positioned to start earning monthly Matrix Commissions and Matching Bonuses from the efforts of my new team members.

I was honestly thrilled. This wasn’t some hypothetical income chart; it was real money in my account from just a few simple conversations.

3 Key Lessons I Learned in My First 30 Days

The money was great, but the confidence and clarity I gained were even more valuable. Here are my biggest takeaways:

1. Simplicity is the Superpower. The biggest difference between LiveGood vs. traditional MLMs is that you don’t need to be a product expert or a sales guru. The value proposition; a $9.95 membership to save money on premium products, is the hero. All I had to do was get out of the way and let people see it for themselves via the tour.

2. Consistency Beats Intensity. I didn’t spend hours on this. I just dedicated 15-20 minutes a day to reaching out to one or two people. Small, consistent actions created real momentum. It never felt overwhelming, and because of that, I know I can sustain it for the long term. This is how you figure out how much you can really make over time.

3. You Don’t Have to “Recruit” – You Just Share. My mindset shifted completely. I wasn’t trying to “recruit” anyone into a business. I was sharing a membership I genuinely believed in, one that could save them money and improve their health. The income opportunity was just the cherry on top. This made the whole process feel authentic and enjoyable.

My Final Thoughts After Month One

My first 30 days were a massive success. Not because I made a fortune, but because I proved the model works. I showed myself that with a little bit of consistent effort, anyone can be profitable in their very first month with LiveGood.

If you’re sitting on the fence, wondering if it’s too good to be true, I hope my little experiment gives you some clarity. The risk is incredibly low, and the potential is incredibly real.

If you’re ready to start your own 30-day journey, I’d be honored to help you. You can find all the info on how to join LiveGood on my site, and I’ll be there to share the exact simple steps I took to get my business off the ground.
