What Is The LiveGood Business Model?

If you’ve found this site and are reading this, there’s a good chance that you have heard about LiveGood and are wondering what it is? Everyone is asking, what is LiveGood? What are the products? What is the LiveGood business model? How does it all work?

If you have questions about LiveGood, you’ve found the right website. In this post I’m going to explain what LiveGood is, the model model, and how it all works.

Is LiveGood A MLM?

I get it, no one want to be “that guy/girl”

In a way, LiveGood is an ANTI-MLM company…

Yes, LiveGood uses the MLM (multi-level marking), or often referred to as “network marketing” business model. Now before you scream “pyramid scam”, have an open mind and hear me out. LiveGood has created something unique, that in a way is “anti-MLM”.

Many people associate MLMs as pyramid schemes or being scammy in some way, which can be true with certain opportunities or companies, but this is NOT the case with LiveGood. Keep reading and I’ll explain how the LiveGood business model is DIFFERENT.

(Important Sidenote: Pyramid and ponzi schemes are illegal. LiveGood is operating 100% buy the book and is no way illegal or a scam.)

Universal Problem With MLM Companies – High Prices

MLM companies are notorious for having high prices. Often times their prices are double, triple, or even 4 times higher than what you can find a similar product on the shelves of Walmart priced for. MLM companies are forced to have high prices because when a product is sold, they have to pay a commission to not just just one person, but often times a commission, or “volume bonus” of some kind is paid out 2, 3, 4, 6, or 12 levels up an “upline”. With paying out out commissions to multiple people, the products’ prices have to high. High prices it the only way the model would work.

Pushing overpriced products that distributors are forced to buy every month on “autoship” is a recipe for disaster and is never going to work long term. If someone can find a similar product on Amazon or on the shelf at Walmart, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out where people are going to make their purchases.

One simple example of this is candles. Years ago there was a MLM candle company (I don’t know if they’re still around, I was never involved with them, this is just an example) that sold candles. The candles were expensive. The prices were about 3 times higher than what you could get a similar candle for in a local store.

This business model, trying to sell over-priced candles on facebook to your friends and family is never going to work. The distributor is going to feel horrible for trying to sell to their friends and family at prices triple of what these candles would normally cost. I’m sure the candle quality was great, but not 3 times as great.

The jist is, any MLM company that pushes over-priced products, products that can found on Amazon or a local store at a significantly lower price, is never going to work and is, in several ways, “scammy”.

The LiveGood Business Model Solves This Problem

The LiveGood business model is unique in several ways.

One way The LiveGood business model solves the MLM over-priced product problem is that only ONE LiveGood affiliate earns a commission on a product sale. There are NO product sales commissions to split with “upline” members 9 levels up. If a LiveGood affiliate makes a retail product sale, they earn small commission that they’ve earned, no one else earns anything from that sale.

Another aspect of LiveGood’s business model that is different is their product prices. LiveGood offers quality products at discounted prices for their members.

That is exactly what the LiveGood is, a membership that saves you money. A wholesale buyer’s club, similar to Costco and Sam’s Club.

Below is an example of just one of LiveGood’s products, Organic Super Reds. Look at the price comparison of similar products:

LiveGood offers same quality (sometimes better) products at discounted prices. To smart consumers, it’s easy to see how the cost of a LiveGood membership pays for itself.

Let’s take a look at another price comparison:

Why would anyone pay $99.99 for a product they can get for $18.00?

LiveGood members get access to quality products at discounted prices.

In addition to this, LiveGood members also have the option to become a LiveGood affiliate. LiveGood affiliates have the opportunity to earn commissions on any retail sales they make, and also earn by referring others to the LiveGood membership. There are 6 ways for a LiveGood affiliate to earn and they are all explained in the LiveGood compensation plan that you can find here.

That is the LiveGood business model in a nutshell. Membership numbers have been growing like wildfire because EVERYONE wants to save money, it makes sense, and there is an amazing opportunity to earn income by sharing it with others.
