What’s the SECRET to success in building your LiveGood business? (Or any network marketing company.)
LiveGood affiliates often come to me wanting to know “The Secret”…
And they are disappointed when I don’t bring out a magic hat and start pulling out all of the tricks for them.
I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t have all of the answers, I’m still learning and will to continue to stay in “learning mode”. (Which is the one of they “SECRETS” to success in anything in life, not just building a LiveGood business. Become a voracious learner.) But I have been able to build a successful business, that has turned into a full-time business, so I have an idea of what it takes to succeed in network marketing.
Here’s the thing… The secret is, THERE IS NO SECRET.
There is no shortcut. For most of us, there is a period of struggle before we find success. (You must be willing to make it through that struggle. Most people give up too soon.)

Here are a few questions I ask those that come to me looking for “The Answer”;
- 1) Have you gone through any of the training, either provided directly from you sponsor, or the training that can be found in your Online Office? (And not just gone through it, but taken the action steps laid out for you.)
- 2) Do you listen to the weekly training calls EVERY week?
- 3) What books have you read in the past 90 days?
- 4) Are you using the products yourself?
- 5) Have you approached anyone and talked to them about what you are doing and Asked them to take a look at your products or business opportunity?
These are all things that no one can do for you. You MUST put in the effort and take the time to do them… That’s the secret.
It’s also important to understand that everyone brand new to network marketing SUCKS at this when they first start out.
It’s brand new and you don’t know what you don’t know. There is a learning curve to everything in life when first starting out.
Think about your job and how you felt on your very first day… (probably clueless right?)
If you’ve ever snowboarded or skied, think about the very first time you put those on… (I know it was an ugly and painful day for me.)
There is a reason drivers between the ages of 16-25 have higher insurance rates. They are new drivers and crash more.
The point is, we become better at the things we do, but we must be willing to take the actions in the first place, learn, grow, and look foolish at times.
LiveGood’s business opportunity has HUGE potential for those that are willing to take it serious and put in the effort.
I’m always baffled at the fact that people are willing to spend 4 years and tens of thousands of dollars to go to college, with hopes of getting a job where they can earn up to $70k/year…
But when they get signed up for business like this, with unlimited earning potential, and the possibility of financial freedom, time freedom, and living the life of their dreams… they won’t read a book, won’t get on a training webinar, won’t entertain the idea of paying money for a training course that will help them grow their business… and simply won’t put in the effort.
(And please don’t take offense to any of this, I’m just speaking generally. I know some of you are working your butts off and crushing it. The intent of this post is to help you and motivate you to take action.)
The day that my business started to change was the day that I stopped waiting around for someone to do the work for me…
Again, don’t take any of this the wrong way, there are so many valuable resources available… but doing the work is up to YOU.

Here’s the “SECRET”…
CONSISTENTLY show up, stay engaged, become a personal development addict, become self motivated, lose your excuses, learn, grow, step out of your comfort zone, face rejection head on, TAKE ACTION and figure it out!
I wish I could say it was easy, but I can’t. You can’t expect to earn thousands of dollars a week without putting in the effort.
This is YOUR business, and YOUR RESULTS depend on your EFFORTS.
It won’t be easy, but it will definitely be worth it!
